Starting September, the National Museum of Korea will keep its outdoor exhibitions open to visitors until late at night.

Representatives from the museum say they plan to keep the outdoor area open until 9 p.m. a three-hour extension from the current closing hour. This outdoor field will stay open to the public every day, all year round.

But the new operating hours will not apply to the museum itself, which closes every Sunday and Jan. 1.
