An inclined elevator that connects the entrance of Namsan Tunnel No. 3 with the platform for the Namsan cable cars starts operating Tuesday. The Seoul City government says the elevator, which rises up a 25-degree incline, will take about two minutes for the 70-m distance.
The glass-walled elevator will run from 9 a.m. until midnight daily free of charge and has the capacity for 20 people at a time. Completion of the latest project will allow people to comfortably reach the peak of Mt. Nam.
