Incheon-Gimpo Airports Train to Open Friday

A new rail linking Incheon and Gimpo international airports is set to open Friday. For travelers the track will offer a new route to Incheon International Airport. Passengers will be able to hop on the new railway from Seoul's subway system by making a transfer at the Gimpo airport station. For commuters the link offers one more possibly simpler route to work.

In fact, Airport Railroad Company expects commuters to take up the majority of daily riders. The Airport Express expects 210,000 passengers daily. The newly opened tracks are phase one of a bigger project to ultimately link Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station.
