Culture Minister Urges Staff to Work ¡®Passionately¡¯
Culture and Tourism Minister Kim Myung-gon called on his staff to apply liberal amounts of passion and spirit to their duties.
In a New Year's message, the minister recalled last year's inaugural speech when he asked for hands-on participation and dedication to public service. This year he rallied his staff to raise that a notch higher.
He noted that many tasks lie ahead, including copyright issues in the broadcast industry related to the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement. He stressed the ministry must go all out to help the city of Pyeongchang win the right to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
