Reclusive K-rocker Seo Tai-ji will show himself to fans for the first time in 11 months since last year's ETPFEST. The musician will be present in a video at the Mania Festival 2005 running from Aug. 5 to 7 at the Pacific Hall at COEX in Seoul. In the five-minute video, Seo will be seen building and flying a large remote-controlled model airplane.
Kim Min-seok of Pion, which organizes the event for nerds and boffins of all shades, said, "The video will be played repeatedly during the three-day festival, along with other documentaries from enthusiastic hobbyists like ornithologist Yoon Moo-boo."
The event will also feature "T's Room", where some of the singer's prized possessions including remote-controlled cars, plastic models and comic books will be displayed. Seo will return to Korea in the flesh to take part in this year's ETPFEST rock festival in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province on Oct. 16.
