Microsoft Korea said Monday that it would hold a promotion event entitled “Lovers in Paris” for one month, targeting users of its mobile messenger on cell phones. Users may travel to Paris by drawing lots.
By drawing lots, MS Korea will select winners among users who have used the messenger for more than three minutes a day for five days during the event period. The prizes are a trip ticket to Paris, cell phones, Apple’ s iPod MP3 players and MS’ game player Xbox.
MSN Mobile Messenger appeared as a device to link the hero and the heroin in the recent popular drama “Lovers in Paris.” Accordingly, the messenger’s download frequency has increased 2.4 times as much and the popularity is on a drastic rise, MS Korea added.
MSN Mobile Messenger service has been provided through KTF since last July. If you pay W3,000 a month, you can use the service unlimitedly without any additional charges.
If you want to participate in the event, you register your personal information at the event website (msnmarketing.co.kr/2004/07/mobile_Pari/index.asp) and use the Mobile Messenger program.
