Fin.K.L. is getting back together after two years. The group's members have been concentrating on their own things since April 2002, and rumors of a break-up have followed them around ever since.
Fin.K.L., however, will be appearing at the "Star Temple" event being held at SBS.
Sung Yu-ri, who is in Sapporo, Japan, shooting scenes for the MBC TV drama "The Crown Prince's First Love," has already reunited with other group members for pre-recorded video footage. This "Star Temple" is an event in which the biggest stars of the land leave their handprints (much as they do in Hollywood) along "Star Street," near SBS's new corporate headquarters.
After releasing their fourth album, the four young women who make up Fin.K.L. have been off doing their own things -- and quite successfully, too. It goes without saying that sex symbol Lee Hyo-ri has made it big since going solo last year.
Sung Yu-ri has successfully made the jump from music to stage, and Ock Joo-hyun has been doing solo work and hosts radio programs. Lee Jin, too, is doing sitcoms and entertainment programs. Yet on Tuesday, they will stand together on stage for the first time in two years. Fin.K.L. plans to release their fifth album late this year and show the world that they're still alive and well as a group.
Meanwhile, all the members of boy band H.O.T. -- which shocked the entertainment world with its sudden breakup in 2001 -- will attend the event, and it's causing quite a stir. Also in the spotlight, boy band g.o.d. are denying that the "Star Temple" will be their last performance, apparently willing to carry the weight of break-up rumors.
