Gimpo Gets Facelift as Shopping Center

Gimpo Airport is undergoing a major renovation to regain its status for Seoul residents from a former international airport to a major shopping center.

Last December, a wedding hall and convention center moved in, and on January 24, Emart, a discount shopping chain, and Mpark 9, a multi complex theater opens.

Furthermore, during March and May, electronic retailers and a golf practice ranges are set to open. Gimpo will have a 1,100-car parking lot featuring parking assistants on inline skates.
