The long running MBC drama "Countryside Diary" (Junwonilgi) is going to have an episode filmed at Kumkang Mountains for the first time in Korean TV drama history from April 27. Producer Kwon I-sang said Friday, "We have been negotiating with Hyundai Asan since last January to film at Kumgang for the special edition on Parent's Day and Hyundai Asan sent a final message this morning that filming is possible."
The landscape of Kumgang Mountains recorded with a camcorder have been seen on culture programs, but there has been no filming with an ENG camera. The story of the special edition is Kim and his wife visiting Kumgang in the present day. Seven actors including Choi Bul-am, Kim Hye-ja, and Kim Soo-mi and thirty staff will go on the cruise. Producer Kwon said that they did not get any official admission documents, and the content at Kumkang would mainly be ten minutes of landscapes.
