Prosecutors are investigating the creator of an Internet home page dedicated to North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and his communist system.
An official of the Public Security Department of the Seoul District Prosecutors Office said that the site's creator and several of those who contributed articles to the home page would be summoned for questioning under suspicion of violating national security laws.
"A Meeting Place for North Korea-Loving People" (http://net.jjnet.co.kr/~runboat), with the North Korean flag and Kim Jong-il's picture had been on the Internet since Oct. 30 but was removed once the investigation started.
The service provider of the free home page network said the author of the home page was a man named Kim Seok-joon who is in his twenties and confirmed that his page had received 4,000 hits.
