Ssangyong, which has been bought out by KG Group, was renamed KG Mobility in a shareholders' meeting on Wednesday.The SUV maker loses its awkward name after 35 rollercoaster years in the business that saw it struggle for much of the last decade and pass through the hands of several would-be saviors.The last one, India's Mahindra, gave up last year and sold it to KG.
As KG Mobility it will now focus on electric and self-driving vehicles and also expand into future technology other than cars.
