Mina Sue Choi won this year's Miss Earth crown in Manila on Tuesday.Choi is the first Korean to be crowned in one of the four major international beauty pageants -- Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International. Miss Earth is an annual beauty contest promoting environmental awareness and conservation.
Choi was up against 86 contestants. The runners-up are Andrea Aguilera of Colombia (Miss Fire), Nadeen Ayoub of Palestine (Miss Water) and Sheridan Mortlock of Australia (Miss Air).Born in Sydney, Australia in 1999, Choi participated in the Miss Korea pageant last year and finished as the first runner-up.
