Ice Hockey Players of 2 Koreas Have 1st Match Together

South and North Korean ice hockey players lost to Sweden in their first pre-Olympic tune-up on Sunday, with the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang just days away. Fifth-ranked Sweden beat Korea 3-1.

But Korea's head coach Sarah Murray seemed satisfied with the result. She said that South Korean players made an "improvement" compared to their last match against Sweden in July when the Swedes dominated the game.

Of the 12 North Korean players who joined the squad, four were included in the 22-woman roster for Sunday's match.

Under an agreement reached last month by the International Olympic Committee, 12 North Korean players were added to South Korea's 23-woman squad. Of the 22 players vailable to play, three North Korean players must be included in the every game.

They will play their first game at the Olympics this weekend, against Switzerland.
