Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, were included among the "Top Artists" in Billboard's year-end charts.
BTS ranked 10th, outpacing other global stars like Coldplay (11th), Ariana Grande (15th), and Adele (47th), while British singer Ed Sheeran topped the list.
The list was based on the combined results of Billboard's various charts, album sales, records of streaming and other data for the year.
Psy was the only Korean singer listed on the year-end chart in 2012 with his megahit song "Gangnam Style."
BTS stole the spotlight after performing at the annual American Music Awards in November and have expanding their fan base in the U.S., appearing on a couple of shows on the major networks there.
