Korea will be under a cold spell until Tuesday morning as chilly air blows in from the west.
Morning lows across the country on Monday were around five degrees lower than the 30-year average and the lowest so far this fall, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Seoul shivered in 3 degrees Celsius, a drop of eight degrees from Sunday's 11.3.
In some parts of the midlands temperatures dropped below zero, including Cheorwon in Gangwon Province.
Temperatures will go back to normal from Tuesday afternoon.
