Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers had the best game of his Major League career as the Dodgers thrashed the New York Mets at Citi Field on Sunday.
Ryu struck out eight batters in seven innings, giving up just one hit and no walks. The Dodgers won 8-0 and Ryu picked up his fourth win of the season.
Ryu has been in excellent form recently, going 15 innings without giving up a run. His ERA fell to 3.53 after Sunday's game.
"From the first pitch to the 90th pitch or whatever it was at the end, he was very aggressive," said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
