With the one-year countdown to the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics commencing this month, the event's organizing committee on Thursday announced an online ticket lottery. The lottery will continue from Feb. 9 to April 23.
The winners will be announced on May 8. They will be able to purchase tickets to all games, including popular events like short track skating, figure skating and speed skating, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
Ticket sales are capped at 50 per person, with a maximum of four tickets per person for high-demand events and eight per person for all other events.
General tickets will go on sale online in September, while on-site purchases will be available from October.
