Seismographs Set up at College Entrance Exam Venues
This year's college entrance exam is being held at 1,180 schools across the nation on Thursday, a week later than scheduled due to the earthquake that rattled Pohang last week.
The Education Ministry briefed venue supervisors on safety and evacuation procedures in case of further seismic activity in the region.
Evacuation decisions will be made by supervisors depending on the intensity of any quake.
Telephone hotlines have been set up between test centers and nearby police and fire stations, while seismographs have also been set up at the centers and medical and rescue staff have been dispatched.
