Clear Weather Forecast for New Year's Sunrise
People will be able to get a clear view of the last sunset of this year and the first sunrise of next year in most parts of the country, the Korea Meteorological Administration said Thursday.
It will be cloudy in central parts on Saturday, but southern parts will see clear skies. The weather on Sunday will be fine nationwide.
The KMA will provide detailed weather forecasts for popular places to watch the sunset and sunrise on its website at www.kma.go.kr/weather/special/sunrise_list.jsp.
According to Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, the sun will go down at 5:24 p.m. in Seoul on Saturday and rise over the new year 7:47 a.m.
