Kumamoto's villa
Kumamoto, the land owner of a rice farm, built this villa in the 1920s injecting a huge sum similar to that used to build the residence of the Japanese Governor-General to Korea. The roof is of thin stone plates and the logs are Douglas fir trees from Mount Baekdu transported down the Yellow Sea.

Lee Yeong-chun bought the house after Korea's independence (August 15, 1945) and currently his wife and descendents are living there.
